Welcome to the Joralemon Park
Disc Golf Course website!
Some major course changes are in the
works.  In order to minimize our impact on
rare species of plants, we will be moving
holes 14-18 out of the back woods.  The
entire course will be re-designed to
include new holes across the road on the
eastern side of the park.

We are extremely thankful to the town of
Coeymans for allowing us to install not
just the 5 relocated baskets but also
another 9 new baskets across the road!

Basket 7
On a small ridge, protected by the hedgerow
and by low-hanging branches.
The town has also been generous enough to actually purchase these 9 extra
baskets for us!
The new baskets have already been delivered and the new
holes are being worked on right now.  Now J-Park will be a massive 27 hole
course!  We will continue to maintain an 18-hole loop which will include several
new holes across the road.

Please keep the park rules in mind at all times, and please remain on good
terms with all park users as well.  Please enjoy it, but be respectful.

The beautiful Joralemon Park's disc golf course is a real treat for the Capital
Region, offering a great mix of tight wooded holes and open fairways with
baskets in guarded positions - for players of all skill levels, yet challenging for
the more experienced players!

This course encourages players to learn new throws and expand your game!  It
requires knowledge of a variety of shots from hyzers and anhyzers to  controlled
distance drives and rollers.  Most holes offer several choices for your shot as
well.   Over 5300 feet in total distance!

The golf baskets are Lightning DB5s.  Tees are gravel.  The course is in a
constant state of maintenance, so the tees will get better as we work on them.
To join a work crew and volunteer your time maintaining the natural beauty of
this disc golf course and park, please keep an eye on the discussion forum to
see when work days are scheduled.

Enjoy the moss-covered rock outcrops, wildflowers, and mature trees.  Explore
both sides of the course!

LATEST NEWS  (see other area news on our "news & info" page):

COURSE RE-DESIGN !

If you've played at J-Park recently, you've noticed some changes to a few of
the holes.  Here's a brief summary of those changes.

---Hole 12 is now a par 4 that plays from old tee 12 to old basket 13.
Note that the city has several of the dead cedar trees in the fairway marked for removal.

---New Hole 15 is a long anhyzer woods shot w/ the basket placed near the
creek. The tee is found down the trail to the right off basket 14 (old #15)

---New Hole 16 is actually a new tee position for the same basket 16.
Still a challenging deuce, but now w/ hyzer, anhyzer & a tight straight route
